Springtime in the spirit
Saturday 18th March
10am – 3.15pm
A reflective day led by Siobhan Burke & Paula Shanks, with input by Christopher Chapman (over Zoom)
£20 for the day or £12 for the morning
Winter breaks and spring emerges. A seed planted in earth sends a shoot upward seeking light. Tree buds swell with the gathering day. Like springtime, God’s Spirit in our spirit continually awakens us, inviting us into greater freedom, life and fruitfulness.
How do we hear or sense this invitation? At one time it might be an unexpected burst of energy; at another, a sense of dissatisfaction, restlessness or unease. We are being drawn beyond the limits of the life we have hitherto known. The process will be challenging but life-giving. This gentle day will offer input from Christopher Chapman in the morning (based on his book Earthed in God), along with time for personal reflection. The afternoon will offer an opportunity to creatively explore the themes of the morning, including getting your hands in some compost and potting on seedlings. The morning will also be offered online for those who wish to join via Zoom.
